Baylor (13-9, 3-7) continues its winning ways with an 86-67 rebuff against Colorado (13-10, 3-7). Tounde Yessoufou explodes for 27 points in leading the Bears. Cam Carr and Obi Agbim both chip in 19 points.

Positives

  • Best half of the year for Baylor in the first half. The Bears go to the break with a dominating 45-21 lead, and they maintain that margin most of the second half.
  • Tounde Yessoufou (134 offensive rating), Obi Agbim (126) and Cameron Carr (150) were all extremely efficient offensively. They also played really solid defense. I thought this was Tounde’s best defensive output of the season.
  • I loved the energy from Caden Powell (6 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals) and James Nnaji (3 points, 2 rebounds). Nnaji had a couple of blocks that were counted as fouls. One of my favorite moments was watching Nnaji play smothering defense on the perimeter near the end of the shot clock.
  • Isaac Williams IV and Michael Rataj also had offensive ratings above 100, a complete team performance.

Needs Work

  • Tonight we celebrate a great win! Sic’Em!
