Baylor again comes out flat, uninspired and making the same type of mistakes all over again.

If you're a guard and the other team is physical you've got to adjust your game. Can't float passes and drive into the lane with out protecting the ball.

It all comes down to Manu, who just isn't up to the role Baylor needs him to play. He's a decent Robin but a terrible Batman. And on a team with no other impact guards, his deficiencies have been exposed badly in conference play.

Give me an injured Makai Mason over Lecomte any day of the week. Yet another in a long line of no show performances from Lecomte this year.
Tend to agree. Another 20 to go but he's easily the most frustrating player we've have since PJIII.

We really need Maston And Big Jo to step upand take over this game in the 2nd half. I'm not sure any of our other guys can do it. Sure would be nice to go into the B12 tourney k owing we were already in the NCAAs.

Yeah he needs to be in a low contact free flowing game. He tends to play poorly when it gets physical.

Mason had another setback with his foot. I don't know how much we can count on him.

Why don't we put Manu on the bench. Start Lindsey at point and go with a larger 2-3 guard set.

They guy just can't put two consistent trips together. He's streaky and a poor game manager.

OMG. Yeah, probably have to count him out at this point. 3 injuries on the same foot? Yeah...

Putting Manu on the bench is NOT the answer. People were floating that during our slump and I'm sorry but it's just asinine. He just has to play better, because his offense is irreplaceable on this roster.

We go as Manu goes, and it's a big reason why we are a top 50 team instead of a top 25 team. There is no better option. Jake and King are both negative offensive players, Manu is a plus (just very streaky)

I don't disagree, but when that gets called they have to play less physical on him.... when it doesn't get called they know they can continue to beat the **** out of him

I agree with your main premise, but Manu has not been a plus this year -- at least in Big 12 play, where he's shooting 35 percent from the field and 32.5 percent from 3. He's a bad point guard or a poor-shooting two guard right now. Unfortunately, he's the best we've got, so we have no choice but to throw him out there and hope for the best.

I agree we can't bench him, but when he's off, we can't let him take the air out of the ball or revolve the entire offense around getting him shots. We could at least do a better job using him as a decoy. Our other guys, specifically Lindsey and McClure, need to take advantage of the additional attention the defense pays to Lecomte.

For his career, he is an extremely efficient offensive player. Big 12 play this season has been tough, but he has no help from the SG spot.

I'm not talking about his career. What he did in the past doesn't help this team win games. And he's been a volume scorer this year when this team needed efficiency.

They're a good offensive team, but we have a habit of making them look like the Harlem Globetrotters. For whatever reason, this K-State team thrives against our zone.

he will be fine. Sprained an ankle. Different injury. He's shutting it down to heal. He should be good to go for Baylor's foreign tour this summer. But they are working to bring in a dynamic guard just in case.
