After being ejected from Baylor’s game at Iowa State on Saturday, head coach Matt Rhule provided an update on the status of sophomore quarterback Charlie Brewer and senior defensive end Greg Roberts on the Big 12 Media Teleconference call Monday morning.

According to Rhule, Brewer will not miss any additional time after being ejected in the final quarter of the contest for what appeared to be arguing the result of a play. Brewer was cited with an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty earlier in the contest when the each player on both teams were given one by officials. The second flag for unsportsmanlike conduct led to his ejection.

Roberts will miss the first half of the TCU game for throwing a punch at Iowa State running back David Montgomery during an alercation in the second half. Montgomery was also ejected from the game.

On the season Brewer has thrown for 2,164 yards on 61.6 percent passing with 14 touchdowns against six interceptions. Brewer has also rushed for 223 yards and four touchdowns on 90 carries.

Roberts has totaled 30 tackles, 6.0 tackles for loss and 3.0 sacks on the season in nine games.

Love Charlie Brewer and his moxie. Probably deserves a statue just for coming here.

Without seeing campus or Rhule in person until after signing, correct?
