#7 Lady Bears (9-1) Vs. #1 Connecticut Preview (11-0) And Game Thread

Baylor hosts Connecticutt to take on the Lady Bears fourth ranked opponent of the season. Waiting for the Lady Bears are the number one ranked UConn Huskies led by Geno Auriemma. The Lady Bears are 9-1 while UConn is 11-0.  Baylor is 2-4 versus UConn in the series history. The Lady Bears are on a two game losing skid to the Huskies with the last victory being a 76-70 road win on February 18, 2013.

I'm glad the Lady Bears have the lead at the end of the 1st Quarter. It should be larger than 3 points though when you look team shooting. Baylor at 43.8%, while UConn just a paltry 23.5%.

Refs are against us in our own house.

We should be up by more than 1 at the half. We started to settle for bad shots, especially Cox taking so many 3's. Defense looks great but offense needs to execute.

Chloe is forcing shots and costing us possessions. She doesn't need to carry this team scoring. If they leave her open, take it. But don't force a shot... especially before your 6'7" and 6'4" players are down the court.

Does Kim not give Lauren enough rest? She was out of gas with 4-5 minutes left. She has the toughest defensive assignment out there, you have to give her a couple minutes to catch her breath.

1st Half Team Shooting: Baylor 41.8%, UConn 28.7%. Hard to believe the Lady Bears only have a 1-point lead. 3 more baskets from beyond the arc for UConn than Baylor. They have 8 free throw attempts, while Baylor has zero. Big advantage points in the paint for Baylor.

This is about the only game I haven't Cox bring it on the offensive and defensive end, except Stanford
