We're going to choke this game. Unbelievable.

March madness starts soon. Don't worry about it
Another bad loss that we don't need on the resume. I get it we're in, but it's about seeding at this point.

It's ok. Nobody showed up to watch the game anyway.

Mason to get the ball back? Otherwise, I'd chuck Mayer in there. At least you know he'd get a shot off.

LOL - McClure taking the last shot.

King misses Mason and decides to heave an airball. Classic King. Know he's a kid but I won't miss him one iota.

Losing to the worst team in the conference at home... not much worse could have happened.

Nice senior night game there McClure. Good grief. Unless we can pull off a win in our next two against Kansas and Iowa St,, he might have insured Baylor a trip to the NIT.

Inexcusable loss. You get the last place team at home, a chance to get to 20 wins, senior night...and you lay a big f'n egg. Come on Bears. And now we get Kansas on the road.

Not sure if serious.

King needs to come off the bench in limited minutes. I hate to say that but we're a better team with Bandoo on the floor.

Senior night, home game, last place team, brutal, just brutal.

Trying to be nice, but this loss is inexcusable. I think it puts BU's participation in the Dance in serious jeopardy . Drew's last 2 games have not been good.

This exactly. King doesn't look comfortable out there right now. He's not confident and it shows. Not sure if that's bc of the injury or morning game shape. Doesn't matter.

Uninspired basketball on Senior Night against the worst team in the conference. WE WERE AT HOME! This should have been win #20, but nope. We're gonna get killed in Lawrence.

Guys, we're in the tournament. 10 wins is a stone cold lock. What should worry us all is the last 2 weeks of play. Regressing to November levels. Tonight's loss is one of the worst in the Drew era. Just an absolute abortion.

Butler, Bandoo, Kegler, Gillespie, and Vital played the last 8:44 and OT of the UT game, bringing us back from 17 down to win, and that should be our core group, with others coming off the bench to sub as needed.

That's literally the only stretch all season that this team has been better without Mason on the floor. If you want to see what we'd look like going with that lineup consistently re-watch the second half of the K-State game at home and all of the Tech game in Lubbock.

Hell, watch tonight's game for that matter. When Mason's shots stopped falling, we couldn't buy a freaking bucket.

People complain about lack of fan support. But these kind of losing efforts lose fans. When I feel like I care more than the players, coming out on week nights when I have other stuff to do doesn't seem entirely rational. We had some nice upsets this season but these kind of losses are just awful. Felt like our loss to Texas Southern. I'd thought about going up to KC but not now.

But that's not a fair comparison when Mason was left on the floor the vast majority of the time, when his shots stopped falling. That was basically 4 on 5 offensively, because his dribble/drive was either being turned over, bricked, or stuffed 90% of the time. I wonder if some of what looked like low effort was "why bother," if the coach is committed to King and Mason, regardless of the results on the court.

I just don't understand singling out Mason after last night's game when his first half was the only reason we were even in the game and his biggest sin in the second half (poor shooting) was something the entire team struggled with.

There were a half-dozen guys (at least) that were far worse than Mason was last night. I'm not sure why he's catching the most flak.
