Baylor's 2016 Class: Those That Remain, Deonte Williams

Do you stay or do you go? That was the question faced by the 2016 Class for Baylor football. As we show in our first article, the grass may not have been greener elsewhere. With that said, how have the players which remained true to Baylor peformed over the transition of staffs.

RUSH has been a position the Baylor staff has been looking for someone to step up and claim. In 2018, Deonte Williams‍ was working into the rotation until a freak injury at Texas ended his season with a broken arm. Wiilliams also suffered a season ending injury in 2017 against Iowa State while playing linebacker. Williams was the other 2016 signee to redshirt his first year on campus, along with Raleigh Texada.
