Butler's court vision is amazing.
That DID NOT look good. Hope he didn't blow an ACL or MCL.rudylaw said:

Bad offense = bad defense. Not a winning combination. Still, play a little better than awful and this is a win.
Probably related to the play when their player got injured? At full speed it looked like Freddie may have pushed or tripped him but the slow motion showed the kid's knee buckled when he tried to pivot off it. I think. Maybe others saw something else?vanillabryce said:
So did anyone catch the exchange between CSD and the CC head coach?
Looks like the CC coach said a few words which included bull *****
CSD gave him a great stink eye then moved on with his life.
It was full of Friday happy hour so not bad.rudylaw said:A good gut you have. Treat her right!BaylorOkie said:My gut says we win by double digits.rudylaw said:

Both Drew and Cliff Ellis are class acts. I definitely noticed it and was surprised. That had to have been gut-wrenching for Ellis to have that happen and a key player likely out for the year. On the replay he'll see it was a very unfortunate accident and not a dirty play by Freddie.vanillabryce said:

I noticed the exchange and wondered about it as well. If you view the replay of the incident with any amount of objectivity, it's clear it wasn't an intentional foul or some kind of cheap shot - Gillespie went all out for the shot block and sadly the CC player got seriously hurt as a result. Yes, it sucks for him and for CC, but things like that unfortunately happen sometimes - we had to deal with losing Clark last season as another example. I get it that it was a gut punch to the CC head coach, but if he accused Drew of a cheap shot or even if he inferred as much, he was way out of line.Big12Bear said:Both Drew and Cliff Ellis are class acts.
