Logic says a team who's only loss was to a top 10 team should out rank a team who's only loss was t a Top 25 team. Unfortunately the committee doesn't use logic, they use politics!

Baylor moves to No. 7 in latest CFP Top 25 ranking

The Baylor Bears (11-1) have moved to No. 7 in the latest College Football Playoff Top 25 rankings following the final week of the 2019 regular season, a jump up from their No. 9 ranking a week ago. The Bears defeated the Kansas Jayhawks 61-6 to close the season and reach 11 wins for the third time since 2013.
Though the Bears were already locked into the Big 12 Championship prior to the game against the Jayhawks, the victory kept playoff hopes alive for the Bears as they are set to face fellow top-10 opponent Oklahoma (11-1) in the contest on Saturday with a chance to boost their resume.
The game against the Sooners will kick off at 11 a.m. CT at AT&T in a game that will be aired live nationally on ABC.
