*Over the next several weeks, SicEm365.com will publish all-decade teams for most Baylor sports. The series continues today with our all-decade baseball squad.

Baylor had its fourth Unanimous All-American ever, a top 10 overall pick in the MLB Draft, and the seventh Big 12 Player of the Year in its history all in this decade.

None of them are at the top for this decade though.

That award goes to the most consistent player of the decade and the most successful MLB Player, Max Muncy.

The star first baseman hit over .300 and slugged near .500 all three of his seasons. He racked up 27 home runs and 153 RBIs over those three seasons on his way to earning All-Big 12 First Team honors two years in a row.

He was  a major factor on Baylor’s most successful team of the decade in 2012 when the Bears made a run to the Super Regionals.

His consistency is unmatched this decade and his two seasons in a row of strong pro production helps solidify his talent. Over the past two seasons with the Los Angeles Dodgers he has 70 home runs and 177 RBIs.

Muncy was not an easy choice but he is the selection for SicEm365.com as “Player of the Decade” for Baylor baseball.

The rest of our all-decade baseball team is listed below.
