Baylor 2021 commit Kyron Drones‍ (Shadow Creek) was among the quarterbacks named to the official “Elite 11” at the prestigious camp in Nashville, Tenn.

Event officials made the announcement late Thursday night via Twitter following three days of compeition between 19 of the nation’s top high school signal callers.

The 6-foot-2, 200-pound Drones impressed all the coaches and players, as he had a very solid camp overall.

After day one he was considered by all to be inside the top five. He garnered a lot of praise from some of the coaches there, especially former NFL quarterback Trent Dilfer.

On day two, Drones had a good day overall but in the pro day competition he finished with a score of 32, which put him just outside the top 10. The top score was a 45 by Ohio State commit Kyle McCord‍ and the number 10 score was a 34 by five-star Caleb Williams‍.

On the final day Drones finished fourth in the target challenge which showed off his ability to throw on the run, strong arm, physical strength and accuracy.

That strong finish propelled him up the rankings and allowed him to easily claim a spot in the official Elite 11 group.
