BREAKING: Baylor MBB adds top 50 forward Jeremy Sochan to 2021 class
Baylor has received a commitment from 2021 FIBA U16 star Jeremy Sochan, formerly of La Lumiere High School in Indiana. Sochan (6-8, 225) is considered a top 50 player nationally and holds additional offers from Kansas, Michigan State, Arizona, Florida State, Virginia, Creighton, Vanderbilt, Xavier and others.
After returning to England at the begininning of the pandemic, Sochran will play his final year of high school basketball in Germany with the Orange Academy.
Sochan led the U16 Bs by averaging 16.1 points and 9.6 rebounds to go along with 3.0 assists, 3.1 steals and 1.5 blocks in 27 minutes per game playing for Poland.
His mother and father played college basketball in Oklahoma and Sochan was born in the United States, but he moved to and spent the majority of his life in England.
Sochan is Baylor’s second commitment in the 2021 class in as many days. He joins four-star prospect and national top 25 prospect Langston Love of Montverde Academy in Florida in Baylor’s 2021 recruiting class.
