Baylor played Kansas State on Saturday and haven’t been 

  1. Great interception JT Woods‍ 
  2. Someone should block 56 for KSU
  3. This is not the way you want the defense to start the game
  4. Defensive line getting pushed around
  5. Offensive line getting pushed around
  6. RJ Sneed‍ with a 2008 RGIII sideline move and ends in a TD
  7. Trestan Ebner‍ with a strong catch over the middle for a TD
  8. Special teams needs to improve
  9. The offense does not work laterally
  10. Brewer playing much better this game
  11. Great stop by the defense to get the offense the ball back with 2+ to go needing 50 to go to get in FG position

The offense was terrible laterally in this game, but I thought that might be a function of the way KSU was playing. They seemed to be flying to the edges and they had good open field tacklers.

The special teams play was pretty close to terrible.

So were the penalties.8 for 87 yards and almost everyone seemed to be a lack of discipline penalty.

Tonight we got good Charlie Brewer. He sure is tough and I'm thankful he was able to lead us to a win tonight. Feels good to win a game.

the first half was like a Guy Morriss team took the field...no discipline, no offense, no defense, lots of loafing. Then a different team took the field in the second half. Good first game to take in this year.
