Good

  • Shooting percentages:  63% on shots inside the arc; 41% on three pointers; 93% free throws
  • Outrebounded the Wildcats 30-28
  • MaCio Teague, Davion Mitchell, Jared Butler all made clutch offensive buckets when game was in the balance.  MaCio 8-8 from inside the arc
  • Beautiful shot fake and dunk from Flo Thamba in the second half
  • Defense locked down at key moments; thought Flagler’s ball defense was good

Needs Work

  • Defensive efficiency going the wrong direction.  Was #6 going into the ISU game and is now #38. 
  • Turnovers!  Yikes, 21 turnovers and 13 from Butler and Mitchell
  • Interior defense; not good at all

Overall defensive power outage. There was no defensive intensity at all. This team feeds off defense, always has - needs to be a short hangover, and if we have 21 TOs tomorrow we will be OUT of this tournament.

Team looked lackadaisical for most of the game. Slow on defense, veeeeerrrry lose with the ball, behind the back passes for no reason. Team totally took KSU for granted having beaten them badly before. "Past performance does not guarantee future success".....ever seen that statement before Team needs to prepare and focus for every game here on out as if they were playing the Zaggs. Wake up Bears!!!
