Baylor's Defense Operating at Elite Level In NCAA Tourney

It is no secret that Baylor’s defense has been a rollercoaster due to a 21 day COVID pause from February 3.  The Bears were 17-0 coming off a 83-69 win at Texas.  After that game, KenPom had the Bears and Gonzaga at historically high efficiency margins.  

As COVID spread through the team in the weeks after that game at Texas, the Bears had very little practice time.  Baylor had two full practices before playing Iowa State on February 23.
