May 30th is the deadline, said last week my gut feeling is he's coming back. The closer we get to the deadline the more confident I feel about that. My biggest worry is it's because of an underlying health issue

I am hoping too he will declare for the NBA and I believe he is a potential 1st rounder.

If he doesn't declare, it is probably health related, and that sucks.

Does he have to declare by the 30th or can he declare on the 30th?

The deadline is 10:59 P.M. Central Time tonight to declare for the draft. I think the deadline to withdraw and return to school if you haven't hired an agent is July 7.

Mayer has not hired an agent. Butler could declare and not hire an agent. Since he entered the draft process last year and was a First Team All American and National Champion I never thought he would return to school. If he returns to school I will be the first to admit I never saw it coming.

He graduated a couple of weeks ago!
