Multiple sources connected to the iconic comedian and actor -- most famous for his starring role as Danny Tanner in 'Full House' -- tell us he passed away Sunday at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando.

The Sheriff's Department and the fire department responded to the hotel around 4 PM ET ... after hotel security had found Bob in his room. We're told he was pronounced dead on the scene, but the circumstances of his death are still unclear.

No signs of foul play or Illicit drug use. Will be interesting to see why this seemingly healthy 65 year old dropped dead. I have a theory but will wait for more info.

its funny that he is known for family comedy like full house and amercias funniest home videos but his stand up work is much darker and he is a "potty mouth"

Accidental fall that both fractured his orbital sockets and also fractured the back of his head.

Dude is an over achiever even in death.
