99 is a little warm for mid May....possibly record breaking actually..I'm just curious why 6 power plants went offline today due to mechanical issues..Hope they can get the issues fixed before we see a real Texas summer heat wave..I'm talking an old fashioned scorcher..temps over 100 for days on end...and that's not uncommon here in coming months.. BTW: ERCOT is asking Texans to avoid using "large appliances" between 3-8 PM...is an electric car considered a "large appliance?" Guess you're supposed to charge them only in the morning or after sunset? :-)
