If you don't live in the DFW metroplex, KERA's signal is relayed on low-power translator station K26NK-D in Wichita Falls, which provides PBS programming to the Texas side of the Wichita FallsLawton market.

KERA-TV also serves as the default public television station for Abilene, San Angelo and the TylerLongviewLufkinNacogdoches DMA, as well as the Texas side of the ShermanAda market.

KERA is also available on cable in Hillsboro, Waco and Texarkana.

Hope you can tune in and see what Dallas was doing in the 60s and 70s, when Big D was the music capital of Texas, and the entire southwest.

Pecos, have you taken time to view the "Letter from Waco" posed several places on this site.

Reminds me of the good kind of historical narrative that you do as well.

Keep creating. Your stuff is always good.

Yes, it was an entry at SXSW when I had RETURN TO GIANT entered.
"Letter From Waco" beat us out for Best Documentary

But I'm not bitter about it.

No.

Not me.

Sorry I raised the subject. My untrained eye sees yours and "Letter" as well done narratives.

Next time is your time!

Steve, "next time" for Return to Giant is scheduled April 28-29, 2023 in Clifton, sponsored by the Bosque Museum, with Kirby's documentary to be shown on Friday and Giant on Saturday. Just a head's up to be looking for the ads/announcements.

Yes, hoping to see a good turnout among the Cen-Tex crowd. It should be fun. I'll be bringing a few extra GIANT mementos with me.

But for now, watch my doc on KERA tonight!!!
