I have been diabitic since 30. I have lost around 100 lbs in the last 9 years since I retired the 1st time at 53. Lots of veggies and very little meat. I drink water and unsweetened tea. I walk a lot and go out dancing on weekends. Weigh under 200 for the first time since high school and only drink beer on. Fri and Sat night. My waist has gone from a stretchy 40 to 32.
I am off all meds and I lift heavy upper body twice a week. I still shave twice a day if I have a date so I dont think my testosterone is a problem. High T has always been the norm..
All yall know so much more than I do.. I cook with coconut oil. I swallow about half a shot of high quality virgen (EVOO) every morning.
I am interested in the fasting diet. How do I began and should I work my way up or just start with every other day? I am 63 and still have a good active life but know I have to try harder as I age.
