I feel Lee Greenwood is the biggest 1 hit wonder. He has a 3 decade career starting from Nashville. His song Proud To Be An American is his 1 hit. I don't know of another hit he has and can't name another song he sings. Every 4th of July he gets to sing this song all day long. He is worth $5M. So, is he the biggest 1 hit wonder??

Technically, the Knack were a two hit wonder. Good Girls Don't made it to #11. (and I think there was another top 40 song)

Someone mentioning "Sun Glasses at Night" from summer of 84 reminded me of another now obscure hit from that summer, v
Van Stephensen's "Modern Day Delilah". I guess that was his only hit as far as I know. Not claiming it was a huge hit but it was popular that summer. I also admit I had to google the song to find out who did it. I'm not sure I knew who it was in the summer of 84 when I heard it all the time. I graduated from HS that year so I guess because of that I remember a lot of songs from that summer.
