My parents were married at the old Lovers Lane Methodist Wedding chapel at Lovers Lane and Lemon. It is no longer there because of Love field expansion. Wish I had a picture of it.

My in-laws were married in 1958 at the Harmony Wedding Chappell on the Gulf Freeway. It's still there.

The Chapel was the original church of Lovers Lane Methodist, built just post WWII it appears. It was enlarged at that location on Lovers between Inwood and Lemmon, later moved to Inwood and Northwest Highway. The building is still there and is Providence Christian School. Stain glass windows are still in the sanctuary area.

Thanks, you are a wizard. I was under the impression it was at the intersection of Lovers lane and Lemon and had been torn down. I had no idea it was part of the school. I guess the church got added onto around the original small chapel before it eventually moved up the road on Inwood. I will have to go check out the school next time I am in Dallas.
