I have long admired Tom Wolfe and wished that I could write something half as good as The Right Stuff, or The Electric Kool Aid Acid Test.
He remained a Southern dandy all of his life and had a vocabulary I envied.
Rest in peace Mr. Wolfe. I wish I had met you.
