I love it too! Mark Knopfler can do stuff that others can't. I still listen to tons of his stuff, spanning 45+ years now. Back in the 80's when this came out I was at a co-worker's house and this was one of his favorite things on earth. He had a little house over on Pine St and had speakers that I think were taller than I am. He had a bunch of us over one night and cranked it all up as high as you could go for this song. On the crescendo on the intro here it built and built, and we were ready to have it blow us away. After the first big guitar lick the speakers blew out and it dropped to about 2% of the previous volume. His speakers were ruined, and they probably cost half of what his house did (high end speakers, low-end house...) Sucked for him, but it was a memorable night for the rest of us.

8th grade. great album - had the 8 track.

good year for music
