Suprise, surprise... Cowboys have decided not to pick up the option clause in the contract for wide receiver Terrance Williams, making him a free agent officially on March 16.

Williams, who only played in two games this season due to injuries and a suspension, was scheduled to make $3.5 million in base salary in 2019, the third of a four-year deal he signed in 2017.

He's only 28. In 2015 he caught 52 passes for 615 yards and 13 touchdowns. His career average yards per reception is 12.1. He hasn't averaged less than 10 in any of his seasons.

BTW - the cracker barrel talk is they really liked Cedric Wilson, our 6th rounder from last year. Out all season with a torn labrum. Not a game breaker but big. 6'2, 205 with 4.55 speed. Sounds like a #3 which is probably what we are looking for

Once again, this could turn out to be one heck of a draft. Probably repeat All Pro in LVE. Connor working off season to get stronger, can play multiple positions. Gallup with a huge upside, they love Armstrong, Schultz with the best game by a TE in Cowboy history since Billy Joe Dupree (3 tds), schools out on White - he could vault pass Rush in the preseason, I heard good things about Covington in practice and Wilson coming off surgery. The only pimple is Bo Scarbrough.
