This is the most complete ass whipping I have seen in the Super Bowl in a while. It will be interesting to see how the Chiefs come back from this.

It's great seeing Kelce & Mahomes with stunned looks on their faces and their mouths shut.

If you don't get the draw of a cute blonde, you're not old. You're dead.
Winning by cheating is just as impressive as winning fairly, probably even more so. Your opponent was better than you in every way, and you beat them with your brain.

My first post-Super Bowl mock draft. Did a couple incremental trades to pick up an extra 3rd and a 4th.

At least she writes her own songs, and doesn't sing somebody else's.

The Philadelphia Eagles may have represented the NFC in two of the last three Super Bowls, and won one on Sunday, but Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott seems to think his team is close to matching their division rival's success despite not reaching a conference championship game since 1995.

Speaking to members of the media during a charity gala this week, Dak expressed that the Cowboys are "very close" to unseating Philadelphia as the Super Bowl champs.

"I feel like we've competed with the Eagles and beat them for the most part when we've played them," Prescott said, via ESPN's Todd Archer. "I don't want to say, 'Check our record,' when the other guy is holding the trophy, right? So, credit to them. They've earned it, and they deserve it by all means, but yeah, very close."

"Especially even watching the NFC Championship and those two teams, teams that we battle against each and every year a couple of times. As I said, I feel confident that we've gotten the better part each and every time," Dak continued. "But just seeing such a dominating fashion [in the Super Bowl], credit to them. It's our turn, and it's on us."

I was wondering if I could get some of what he is smoking. This is a sub 500 team right now. And they are gonna probably lose more talent in the off season. If we are lucky, 7- 10 I think...

I'm sad to lose him but there's plenty of coordinators who would be more than happy to come coach the Eagles offense.

With that being said, I think Kellen should've waited for a better job to open. The Saints are a mess, the Cowboys would've been much better for him IMO.

Another thing, although Kellen was a major part of our offenses success, he had generational talent. Will he be able to replicate the success of the Eagles offense without guys like Saquon, AJ, Hurts, and our OL? I'm not sure…

He had a sweet gig there. But when you get a chance to coach ANY NFL team, that urge probably has to be scratched. He is going to need a few years there.

How excessive is the Saints use of restructures? From 2020 to 2024 they have ranked no lower than 2nd in a given year in the amount of salary converted to a bonus for salary cap purposes. Over the entire term no team is even in the same ballpark as New Orleans. The Saints have restructured around $450 million to create nearly $340 million in cap space over that timeframe. The amount converted is a staggering $254 million more than the next closest team. They have "created" $182 million more in cap room than the next closest team. In recent years they have had to restructure almost every eligible contract to function. They are up to nearly 50 restructures, almost 25 more than the next closest team and that does not even count a few players who were extended in large part to lower their cap hits. ESPN projected mock for us

12. Dallas Cowboys
Will Johnson, CB, Michigan
Though going with an offensive lineman was strongly considered here, Johnson would help fortify a Cowboys cornerback room that has plenty of questions as the offseason begins. Trevon Diggs is recovering from a knee injury that required surgery, DaRon Bland has only one year left on his rookie contract and Jourdan Lewis will be a free agent in March.
There are some in the scouting world who see a healthy Johnson as one of the highest-upside players in the class. He has elite 6-foot-2 size and ball skills (nine career interceptions). Even if the Cowboys are concerned with his speed, it won't be an issue in new coordinator Matt Eberflus' zone-heavy scheme. (And yes, Dallas could think running back, but I think the team waits and takes advantage of a deep class at the position.)

I am torn about this...Diggs' injury history is a concern and I fear we are going to screw around with Bland. On the other hand we have so many holes that would rather trade down and collect more picks. We frankly need to make this like a 10 pick class.

Zack Martin appears to be hanging up his pads. The longtime Dallas Cowboys guard has informed the team of his intention to retire from the NFL, a person with knowledge of the decision told The Dallas Morning News' Calvin Watkins on Thursday.

2025 NFL Draft Big Board: Who are the top 100 prospects in this year's class?
By Dane Brugler
Feb 11, 2025

In the last few weeks before the NFL scouting combine, teams conduct scouting meetings to have healthy debates on prospects and build initial draft boards. Their rankings won't be set in stone as the 2025 NFL Draft process continues to play out, but they establish a foundation going into the combine later this month.

Similarly, our board will have some fluctuation before the draft arrives in April, but this updated top 100 provides a frame of reference as the final draft picture comes into focus.

Though he's undersized, Paul is a high-energy Mike 'backer who sees the field well and had the dirtiest jersey on each tape studied. He might not be a fit for every scheme, but I'll bet he finds a way to be productive at the next level..

No QBs in this years draft really "wow" me. MAYBE Cam Ward, Jaxson Dart would be my sleeper pick.

Abdul Carter needs to do a bong rip on instagram live and get arrested for drag racing so he can drop down to 32 for my Eagles

I really like Will Campbell, the LSU OT. He can play OG also. Gives us some options

Of course Jeanty would be hard to pass up... but we are desperate in the OL with Martin retiring

Jeanty could be VERY special. If he drops to the Cowboys then it would be foolish to pass up on him

There will be plenty good OL left in the 2nd round

With Cowboys officials in Indianapolis during the NFL scouting combine, conversations have started with star pass rusher Micah Parsons about a contract extension, multiple people with knowledge of the discussions told The Dallas Morning News.

Those conversations are described as general, just the beginning of the process between the two sides.

Parsons, as part of the fifth-year option, will make $24.007 million in the 2025 season. Among pass rushers, the 49ers' Nick Bosa has the highest-paid contract worth $170 million, and in total guarantees at $122.5 million.

The Browns' Myles Garrett, who requested a trade, has the second-highest guarantee among pass rushers at $100 million.

The agent for Cowboys free agent defensive tackle Osa Odighizuwa continues discussions with team officials about a new contract.

There are 14 defensive tackles averaging at least $20 million per season and it's expected Odighizuwa is seeking figures in that range.

However, the Cowboys could place the franchise tag on Odighizuwa, a person with knowledge of the team's thought process told The News. NFL teams have until Tuesday to place a franchise tag on a player. The Cowboys would have to pay Odighizuwa $25.1 million if they place the franchise tag on him.

The last time the Cowboys used the franchise tag was 2023, when running back Tony Pollard was tagged for $10.1 million. He didn't sign a contract extension and left after the 2023 season.

Cowboys officials also met with the agent for pending free agent DeMarcus Lawrence at the combine. A person with knowledge of the discussions said Lawrence isn't expected to return and there's a market for him. Last season, Lawrence earned $10 million in base salary, so he doesn't expect to get less than that.
