Davis running that route short of the sticks should make this, and the season a wrap.

EDIT: I dont think Davis was running a pattern per se as much as being a safety valve but still he needed to know where the sticks were.

New look at linebacker

The Cowboys made a move on Sunday that many fans had been waiting weeks to see. They started Logan Wilson at linebacker instead of the much-maligned Kenneth Murray, who entered the week as the 91st-ranked linebacker out of 95 in the NFL, according to Pro Football Focus.

A full assessment will likely require some time, but there's one immediate marker we could look at to determine how well the linebackers played. Matt Eberflus said he wants his linebackers to be on the ball and to be the ones that fill stat sheets.

On Sunday, Wilson and Murray had two combined tackles between them.

On the positive side: DeMarvion Overshown had seven combined tackles.

No matter who's next to Overshown whether it's Wilson or Murray the Cowboys need more from their linebacker position.

Couldn't resist trading back twice with the GB pick, picked up a couple of valuable 3rds. Did this before we know about Pickens, J Williams, Diggs or other folks we may lose to FA. Overall, I would be pretty happy improving our D with this draft.

I think a trade back or two, if you can get one/some, is an absolute must. Need to find more arrows to put in the quiver.

Arvell Reese is a new name to me. I know most of the top LBs now but will have to check out Reese. He was highly ranked by PFN
