The optimist in me looks at these successful preseason games and sees the level of skill, execution, energy, and coaching we've not seen for quite a while as indicators that there is something really different about this team and organization, and that we might be in for something really special this season.

The pessimist in me remembers that Jimmy Johnson went undefeated in the preseason in his first year as an NFL coach... and then went 1-15 in the regular season. It's still just the preseason, nothing more.

I'm more excited about the Cowboys this year than Baylor, by far. Which is crazy.
