Franklin running back Bryson Washington beat Columbus 24-21. He finished with 100 yards and two touchdowns on 23 carries. Washington scored the game-winning touchdown on 4th down with 25 seconds left in the game. Franklin has now won 30 games in a row and Washington has been a big reason why. Franklin will take on Edna (13-1) in the 3A-I state semifinal. Round 5 Prediction: Franklin 38, Edna 28

Fort Bend Marshall defensive lineman Trent Thomas upset by Port Neches-Grove 29-21 in the Regional Final. They finish 12-2 on the season.
