Lol. I am hardly a fan of the BOR. They needed the light shined on them too. The football team has had a lot of unfair things posted about them but Briles was not without fault in how he handled certain issues and had to be fired. He's gone. He is not coming back. He is probably never coaching again. It is time to move on and support CMR and this current Football team. If some of you don't feel like doing that, then this Baylor Football team doesn't need you and you can go and buy some Texas tech and Ti-Cat jerseys in the hope they change their mind.

The CFL told Hamilton the league wasn't doing business with Briles.
Tv executives and advertisers want no association with Briles.
The tv people just consider Briles to be the former head coach at Baylor. They can clearly understand Baylor's perspective better than Briles. Tv knows his ego and stubbornness are two reasons why they don't trust him or want him around.

And they still do need that light shining on them. Football has been fixed. It was easy. Hire he right guy. Coach Rhule relates very well to players, his staff and the public. He's a smart football guy and works very hard. He will have a decent level of success, and I suspect sooner rather than later. Briles isn't relevant going forward, but Briles was not the primary cause of our problems. In addition to attending games and donating to the Bear Foundation, the best thing that Baylor fans can do to support the football teamis to find some way to make sure there is real transparency and accountability in our school's governance and administration.

Nothing is going to exonerate Briles. It can't be done.

Similarly, there is probably no silver bullet that's going to nail him. If there was, then one of the plaintiff's lawyers, the BOR gang rape club, or the Paula Lavigne book would've fired it.

Your gut reaction on this point has a lot to do with what presumptions you are willing to make in absence of having the full story.
