You noticed my affection for cubism.

Actually, truth be told, I am big fan of the impressionist movement.

I love seeing Van Goughs in person because you can see the guy going ape **** with the pallet knife.

I much prefer the impressionists. I've been fortunate to see plenty of Picasso's work, including a great exhibit at the Kimball in Ft Worth decades ago and visiting some world class museums. My conclusion: I've had enough Picasso & modern art to last a lifetime! Give me Renoir, Monet, Degas, Manet, etc any day over just about any artist who followed.

I got to see Van Gogh's Starry Night many years ago & I did not like it as much of most Impressionist art.
