At what point does he lose the locker room. Is that five straight losses now? Whole team looks uninspired. The Sugar bowl sure feels like it was a really really long time ago

I've never seen a program lose its juice faster than this one has. In two year's time, we've lost every bit of momentum we gained from the 2021 season.

It's a shame we don't play BYU this year. They're struggling with Sam Houston State currently. We might be able to hang with them.

FYI:

Long Island lost to Ohio University today 27-10.

While I feel your angst, it happens a lot more than you think and the falls are even harder.

LSU went from winning a MNC in 2019 to finishing 5-5 the next year.

TCU went from going to the MNC game to losing at home to a team that went 1-11 last year

UT played in the MNC game in 2009, then went 5-7 the next year and didn't even qualify for a bowl game. 3 of those wins were against the cupcakes Rice, Wyoming and Florida Atlantic. So really, they were about as bad as a 2 win team in 2010.

I'm talking about conference champion to basement dweller in two years. That's where we're headed, with little hope for a brighter future under the current staff.

The examples I gave are just as bad. Programs lose juice.

They're not as bad. LSU was back to being a top 15 team in 2022. And TCU isn't going to be terrible this year or anytime in the near future.

We are currently terrible. And we'll likely stay that way without a significant change at the top of our program.

Now it's clear to me why Baylor under Dave never capitalized on the Big 12 title and Sugar Bowl win

FWIW....the Colorado team of this year is nothing like the 1-11 team of last year. They had a a total roster and coaching staff makeover. They look like they may have a decent team. TCU losing to them is nothing like what just happened to us.

12 is the best player in the country. His son is a legit QB and it is clear that team loves Deion. Time will tell but it looks like he is going to be good.

CO beating expectations today doesn't necessarily mean they are a decent team. It may just mean that TCU sucks.

There is obvious NFL talent in the skill position on Deion's team. When's the last time you saw a stud play both ways in a P5 game?

Lot of speed on that CU team. And Deion will continue to draw talent to Boulder. We may be envious pretty quickly, if we aren't already.

TCU isn't that good. TCU got hammered by Georgia, lost most of their best players from last years team and have a new OC (Briles, actually. What a bunch of hypocrites). They won something like 5 or 6 1-score games last year. Statistically, they will move back to the mean.
