And for good reason. Sawyer's last two passes were a terrible interception and a near pick-six. With the way the defense is playing today it would be foolish to take unnecessary chances.

Since that last FG, we have EIGHT total yards on 3 drives (1 INT, Punt, Punt) and had the ball less than 3 minutes.

We've had some very good ones in the past few years. I remember Zach Smith had a great one in 2017? and Isaac Power had a beautiful punt vs OSU in the championship game. Those are just off the top of my head.

Totally. That usually does not end well.
Neither does forcing passes against a good defense with a shaky rookie QB and a one-score lead.

Our defense is dominating this game. There's nothing wrong with playing field position.
