How long do you want to ignore this user?
He's listening to maybe a handful of stuffed shrimp, blue haired money launderers.

All that stuff about gameday experience is important, but if you fix the product on the field, those issues have a way of working themselves out. Did they ask Mack about what his expectations for aranda are?

He's not hearing if he's allegedly listening.

For the question, "do you think there's a disconnect between the fan base and athletic department that needs to be mended", Mack straight up said that there are people in the athletic department that are on this website, lol. That explains an awful lot about some of the snarkiness and hostility I've seen from certain posters on the premium board

Me thinks he'll figure it out once the stadium is empty.

I ain't a big donor by any stretch and they communicate with me on these topics now so yes, they are actually listening now and making changes. Running the line is back to not being limited any more, on fielf promotion **** is only during quarter breaks now. LED light upgrades are even being discussed. Just some quick feedback examples that have been put to action

I'm pretty sure running line is still limited.

I'm 100000% sure that it ain't. Not only do I have copies of emails sent out to all freshman stating that all freshman can run the line now, I also have the actual data from how many freshman tickets were pulled for both games so far this year & how many actually ran. Week 1 saw more than twice as many run as week 2. Week 2 had 2700+ freshman tickets pulled. Less than 900 freshman showed up to run. The rest decided to not stand in the heat and entered the stadium like normal and then went into the line section once the line ran.

The only limit there is, as it was pre-2020 when limiting running began, is the gates typically close 30 mins prior to kick off but may close sooner if the line area reaches capacity. Said capacity is in the thousands vs the last 3 years where running was in the hundreds.

All freshman tickets for football are exactly the same. No more specific running ticket.

Good to know they finally made a good change.
I saw all the kids that skipped running and figured it was still split.

One of our best traditions and you only have a few games of opportunity. Run every time, freshman.

Not sure where the yellow ever came from, much less this ugly yellow. The Green is okay and I can live with it.

Our colors are green and GOLD. Not yellow. #endtheyellow!

I'm guessing probably another expensive mistake that they forced themselves into having to commit at least 5 years there to. It being year 5 now perhaps is why Rhoades is talking publicly about new colors being around the corner again. But make no mistake the current branding is a huge green bear level mistake.

Not sure how you missed it....but Mack has been quoted at least twice since August that he expects us to compete for Big 12 championships.

So yeah..Aranda knows what's expected..

Please. My Baylor roomie and I have season tickets together. It is getting impossible for us to have a conversation during the game.

Just figure out how to win some football games (like enough to go to a bowl and win that one too), and quickly, or have the decency to be gone and let someone else try.

Saying it and doing the things that bring it to reality are two different things. I am not a big Matt Rhule fan and I do not believe he did anything special at Baylor. But, even I recognize that he set up a professional football recruiting and administrative system. It seems that Rhodes and Aranda have torn it down.

So, I have said in the past that there were 50 coaches that could have done what Rhule did. I was mistaken in my comment. I still believe that there are 50 that could have been successful, but failed to mention that there are more that could destroy what Rhule did. As much as I like him personally, CDA seems to fit in that category.

Some items I do not agree with. 1 - All positions are equal. Sorry, but you need a real P5 QB. If you need to pay them more in NIL to get them and keep them you do it. The QB is the leader of the team, they are different and need to be. To have a QB room that BU has after 4 years is ridiculous.

2 - That football can be a cerebral, emotionally mature, calm sport. Sorry, but the staff needs some old fashioned Junction Boys coaches to go with the emotionally mature. BU seems to miss that. There are no firebreathers on CDA's staff. I believe it is needed, especially on Defense. The guy that pulls his D together after the Team meeting and says that a Roughing the Passer in the 1st Quarter isn't a bad penalty... This D needs that!

The piped in music is getting out of hand and it's not just at Baylor. Even worse indoors. Old man yelling at clouds, I know.

Should I be concerned when my ears bleed during the game? Huh? Speak up, please...

Being able to communicate with the person next to you seems like a reasonable request.

And it's the same at every venue. I hear it from friends who are season ticket holders at other schools.

It has been that way for a while at pretty much every school, at least the ones I have been to for games. The piped in music is really loud and relentless. I don't go anymore. I watch at home or at a bar.

In addition to the music, I lost the enjoyment about 2010'ish. Michigan really turned me off on going to games, people were just nasty. Sort of like the pay board, except on steroids.

It seems to have changed in about 2005. I remember games watching with opposing fans giving each other a hard time and drinking together. Even big rivalries like FSU/Miami, FSU/FL, FSU/ND the crowds were fun. It was more about the school bands, than the piped in music. I remember Florida A&M, that band was loud and good. Definitely a step above. Seems to have become more commercialized and combative. Just one person's opinion, which will get picked apart...

NIL didn't exist when Rhule was here. My gut tells me our administration doesn't know what it is doing in this regard and that is a a big contributor to what we are seeing now. Rhule would have the same issue if this is true. Again it is my speculation regarding screwing up NIL. It could be coincidence that our program went into a declined when NIL came to the scene in spring 2022 or late 21.

Good point. I remember when BU said it would not go beyond "team NIL". Now, if NIL is struck down or the IRS gets involved, this may be a speed bump.

NIL doesn't have anything to do with our problems now...we won't see that effect for another year or 2.

Our problem NOW is all of Rhules players and coaches are gone and the players here since 2020 haven't improved or have regressed.
