Neither is tcu. Briles son(in law) is not close to recreating the magic. Both looked extremely beatable today

I'll be shocked if Shough isn't forced to medically retire. That injury looks like it will be the end of the year for him again. This is basically the third consecutive year with either a season ending injury or an injury that causes him to miss most of the year.

Tech has a whopping total of 17 yards passing and 19 yards rushing in the 1st half.

As I flip from the 3 current Big 12 games and then reflect on the first 2 I saw earlier, it's shocking how bad most of the QBs are in the Big 12.

Against Oregon they ran Shough 23 times. It was effective…but I remember thinking that's not sustainable.

Tech at home now looks likea game that Aranda needs to win. Iowa St, Houston, and Tech are games he has to have now. This conference is so mediocre.. shame the team couldn't be even decent so far. That's all it would take to win it this year. Maybe with a healthy Qb1 and Rb1 he can turn it around. We'll see

There are a ton of winnable games in this league. We just need to focus on improving and hope we get Blake Shapen back next week.
