Doubtful. As bad as our defense can be, our offense is pathetically worse. I don't know why you have any faith whatsoever in our offense. Shappen sucks, our WRs are lazy route runners, and our O Line is the worst in the conference by a wide, wide margin.

We are splitting hairs because both are pathetically bad, however, I'd venture to bet Baylor has played more defensive snaps than any team in the conference bc the offense is so terrible. It's had to play defense when you are gassed from being on the field 65-70% of the game.
With a defensive head coach, your defense CAN NOT be that bad. It negates the entire purpose of hiring a defensive HC.
If you can iso any of our LBs, it's basically an automatic first down.

Slow is slow, but aren't angles something most players learn in 7th grade?
It's stupid that we can't even handle the basic fundamentals of the game.
If we don't fire Aranda, BU football will not exist for me next year. The players have quit, some of the coaches have quit, the fans are quitting.. there is no hope until we clean house and start over.
Some creativity and some pretty decent blocking by the line on this drive. Nice.
Grimes always waits until we are down to open up the offense.

He basically insinuated their energy gets killed by the lack of execution on offense. The defense hasn't played poorly today. Honestly, it's hard to be any good on defense when you are on the field 70% of the game. We just absolutely suck nuts on offense. Like worse than 2017 and Steele era bad this year.
