I agree. I think at most there should be a third field, called 'open' and anyone that isn't competing against their birth sex should be forced into 'open', or not be allowed to compete.

If we are being honest here, the only time this is making news is when it's a guy competing against girls. I have yet to find a case where a girl went over to the men's side and was stealing first place finishes from the men.

Because gays outnumber lesbians seemingly 4 : 1.

Not to mention seems to be easier to subtract parts than add them…

To be serious for a second - people of both sexes fall along a range from super feminine to super masculine, with most people falling in between.

Khelif is clearly more on the masculine side (at least in physical looks) for women. She's a woman though, and should be competing against women.

I say that because even the most masculine women are going to get their asses kicked by a man in a sport like boxing..
