It's early, but this is exactly what I wanted to see from this game. We need to dominate these guys. Anything less than utter domination would have been concerning.

Agreed. I look forward to cupcake games again where I can watch the 2nd and 3rd teamers get some reps as I chill for the next big games of the evening. Looks great so far, Sic 'Em!

I said this in the TCU Stanford thread last night..

Every team in this league can move the ball..and almost all have no defense..

Any team that can play a lick of defense can win this...

I'm probably in the minority but I'm ok with the starters playing 3 plus quarters. They need the reps and the comp level is about to skyrocket next week. Let these boys get humming

The audio is freaking awful. If ESPN is going to promote and push major conference games to ESPN+, there needs to be a requisite quality level for these broadcasts.

There are constantly issues. I hate being forced to pay for an amateur-quality product.


The only sure remedy is to have a good record, opponents, consistency to overcome being placed on +. Probably leaving something out, but you can include whatever it is along with those. Up to now we ain't doing it.

The defense looks so much more sound this year than it did last season.

I know Tarleton is Tarleton, but we weren't this disciplined against anyone last year. Our guys are consistently doing their assignments and where they're supposed to be, which is nice to see.
