This was incredible. We produced two humongous failures literally 5 minutes apart. Failures you probably don't see once every 5+ years (Hail Mary+ fumble out of the end zone). It is a statistical anomaly that only a Dave Aranda coached team can pull off. Unbelievable!

I wish you were right, but I live in Austin and my phone is blowing up. Seems quite a few were watching and I'm taking some serious grief for how this one ended. Unfortunately I have no defense!

I mean this was a classic big 12 matchup two historic bottom feeders trading incompetence into overtime, neither making a play to win the instead doing everything but the bare minimum when needed.

Both these teams are horrible and might not win again this year.

We played for a long field goal.......in wet conditions. It's almost impossible to even contemplate the stupidity of the strategy.

We need to start standing up to the administration. Like at the end of the year on some nondescript weekend, have a huge crowd in front of the AD office to let him know his services are no longer wanted.

That was because BU was PREDICTABLE on their play calling. PLAIN A$$ Vanilla!! We hadn't been running on them all night and we run it right up the middle to gain five or six yards to kick it in the rain. Hell, EVERYONE including the f'n viewing audience knew. Where was this so called OC guru $**+aval. Damn Losers! Loser U.

That's when I made my "don't be a puss Dave" post because I knew we'd be kicking a FG. It's just what his teams do. Fired it would be long. I figured we'd miss

I'm rarely wrong.

My only regret is I didn't take the ML late in the game for colorado because…..Dave

Just looking at Colorado's remaining schedule, I don't see even two more wins. They'll be underdogs in all but one of them.

Really bad team. Took a massive effort to hand them a W tonight.

Okay so legit question. If Aranda goes, who replaces him? UNC seems to be having serious discussion of getting Mack out. Dykes went from Championship game to getting blown out by SMU.

I think we are better on both offense and defense than last year.

Other than the field goal miss, special teams were great.

But Dave needs to get us to a bowl game or resign

As heartbroken as I am about this loss, I am also upset about the horrid level of armchair quaterbacking I am reading in the caustic comments. Our team played their hearts out and played wellmuch better than expected when this season began. We had zero turnovers until literally the last play. Our defense played well overall, and registered a bevy of sacks and pressures against a super-mobile scrambling QB. Were it not for the final play of regulation we would be hearing their praises sung. We had multiple players step up among our offense and special teams. We had one truly bad play that turned triumph into tragedy.

It's okay to cry, but this loss is not proof of incompetent coaching.

I am proud of this team. It deserves better fans than those who wrote some of the posts I've read tonight.
