Pretty much. We would have been stuck with Finn for the year. But we did win one with Finn... guessing Tarleton and Air Force would have been our two wins. We would have lost to Utah, Colorado, BYU, Iowa State and probably Tech
Yeah, I guess we could have overcome AF and Tarleton by just having more talent.

We'd have more losses and those losses would look at lot worse, too.

There was nothing any back was doing on those 2 runs. Helen Keller saw the run blitz. Both should have been audibles

I disagree. This team has talent.

The team has talent, but you cannot win if you cannot score.

If you are suggesting we would have 3 wins with Finn as the starter, you are either drunk or high, or both.
I'm just not sure why we're taking Sawyer off the roster in the first place in this scenario.
I was thinking about his injury exit in the first half and how this season would look if we didn't have him.

Yeah, we would maybe have one less win than we do now. Sawyer is the better quarterback. I'm not sure much can be said beyond that, and I'm certainly not going to pencil in any wins moving forward

That happens sometimes, especially against offensive coaches as accomplished as Gundy is. Dave has called a good second half IMO.

Our offense has been way more frustrating than our defense since halftime.

The offensive play calling by Spav is going to lose this game for the Bears. Defense is having to stay on the field way too long.

I didn't see an open WR downfield, did you?

He slowly drifted to the sideline, away from pressure and eventually threw it away.

Maybe it would have been better for him to take the sack.

On that 3rd and 25 I really felt a penalty coming from Baylor deep in my bones. Glad I was wrong.

He goes way too far back and kills the play from the jump. That's the point. He never stands in the pocket and delivers a throw in those situations. He immediately either rolls way back and throws it away or forces it into coverage off his back foot.

He's a terrible quarterback, and his pocket presence -- or lack thereof -- plays a huge role in that.

We saw it today with the grounding penalty early.

I'm not sure why you're so vigorously defending a pocket passer with a career 132.6 passer rating.
