Simply defend the Hail Mary and Colorado's season would be very different. Gave them the game and they started to believe they were good. Belief goes a long way.

Maybe Prime is gonna stay for another year

Not sure why people think he is going to bounce (presumably to the NFL).
Even if he wanted to, he needs to prove quite a bit more. He hasn't been at the FBS level long at all and his resume is rather short as a whole.

Fat chance he's not coaching in Boulder next fall.
That would mean he is coaching CO next fall. Not sure if that is what you actually meant, though.

I think that buzz is only about the Cowboys because of his obvious connection and the potential open seat

Because we've had two NFL analysts (one being Michael Irvin) who said he would coach the cowboys if they draft Shedeur

IC.

I had to look up his career. Didn't realize he spent just as much time with Dallas as Atlanta. I wonder why his time with SF was so short? I guess they didn't like his, uh, approach?

Prime is such a fraud….. I'm not surprised he has a lot of followers and fans, nearly half the country voted for kamala too.

His whole program is nothing more than a rap video with a couple good players.

Are you ok? You e done nothing but rip on Sanders and bring up Kamala voters for whatever reason

I'm good. Thanks for asking.

I'm just giving my views on the Colorado Buffalo's and the head coach.
I thought that's what this thread was about.
Sorry I hurt your feelings.

I'm not crazy about Prime's approach on some things...but his results at Colorado have been nothing short of remarkable. One of the biggest recent turnarounds we've seen in college football. Colorado was a lifeless doormat before he arrived.

If you watched the sidelines when CAB was with us it looked like we were shooting rap videos on the sidelines too...but we were all having fun with it then.

No, I'm sorry.
If you are saying the way Briles acted and visitors he had on the sidelines are similar to Deion, youre wrong.

I've seen Deion go from Berating reporters, blaming others for ridiculous things and hiring thug coaches that try and fight ball-boys….. then act like he's some preacher and Man of God way too much… that's why he's a fraud, hypocrite , whatever you want to call it.

But yeah, Colorado no longer sucks, that's true

I agree about the way he treats reporters. He wants to be an unquestioned king.

From the perspective of the Colorado administration, absolutely yes.

I gotta give him credit, it you just listen to what he says, not the way he says it, he is old school. You can definitely tell he learned old school football, he comes from Bear Bryant territory in FL. In FL during the 70's, 80's, and 90's almost every big HS and College Coach were Bear-guys. He is as basically as old school as Singletary, just much flashier and provocative.

This thread has turned really weird. You cannot like Deions personality and still admit he's completely turned around that program. Colorado went from the literal basement to being in the running for the CFP overnight.

If he sticks around they are gonna be a problem because he's attracting some top end talent that other B12 schools aren't in the running for. I think it's ultimately a good thing for the B12 having him at CU as we are struggling with conference perception with OU/UT out.

His program is bringing big ratings and attracting a national audience for his games. That's a good thing for the conference.

We need Deion in the Big12, he's the closest thing we got to a UT or OU popularity wise

However, the Philly fan in me wants him to take over the Cowboys bc I simply dont see him being successful in the NFL

The Big 12 needs good, nationally competitive teams. If Deion builds that at Colorado, great. But his novelty will wear off at some point, and our conference would be much better off long term with substance over style. We need teams that can win playoff games. Absent that, nothing else really matters.
