And we are laughing...How did TCU just end up in a worse bowl game than multiple other Big 12 teams lower than us in the standings (Tech vs SEC, K St vs Big Ten)? https://t.co/dD0Q6tUeVg

On KillerFrogs they are saying TCU turned down the Liberty Bowl. Don't know if it's true, but crazy if so.

That's what happens when your AD skedaddles out of town just before bowl selection and no one is left in charge to plead your case.

The last time LSU went to the Texas Bowl (as I recall) about half their team opted out and consequently Kansas State destroyed them. I wonder what will be the situation this go around(?).
Big 12 has 9 bowl teams. 1 made playoffs. 2 made Alamo Bowl. Doesn’t that leave 7 bowl games for 6 remaining bowl eligible Big 12 teams? I’d be interested to hear TCU admin’s explanation on how the process went down for TCU to end up in non-Big 12 affiliated bowl game. https://t.co/8JRcTnmo7D pic.twitter.com/Q8YCjGQnAp

Not an absolute must win. But if Dave pounds a sec team
NIL cannot be tied to athletic performance and having to play a game would be just that.Self Made Bear said:Johnny Bear said:

I have to think these NIL agreements have some sort of stipulation about sticking around for the bowl game.

Have we pounded anyone with a pulse in the past 3 seasons?
Hint: "With a pulse" excludes FCS teams and teams named Kansas or Texas Tech.

It is one of the few rules in place.
In the Alamo Bowl introductory press conference going on now, Colorado coach Deion Sanders just said that every CU player is going to play in the bowl game, including Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders.

We will roll them. This is a reward for us. Most of their top players will look at it as a punishment and sit out.Self Made Bear said:Johnny Bear said:

While pay to play is (theoretically) strictly prohibited, there may be stipulations or bonuses tied to appearances while on the team during bowl weeks. I feel like that's the way around the rule.

What is your definition of a team with a pulse? TT finishing 8-4 with wins over both teams that played in the B12 Title game doesn't have a pulse?
We beat them 59-35 on the road.
Had we beaten Colorado he would have added them as a team with no pulse. Same goes with BYU. His agenda is falling apart in front of his eyes. It's all about the poster being right than good things happening to the program.boognish_bear said:jikespingleton said:Huh?Quinton said:
