Bears Fall Short in Upset Bid, Lose to No. 3 Houston 65-61

WACO, Texas — The Baylor Men’s Basketball team (18-13, 10-10 Big 12) fell just short of upsetting the No. 3 Houston Cougars (27-4, 19-1 Big 12) in the regular season finale by a score of 65-61.

Baylor’s VJ Edgecombe battled former Bear LJ Cryer with both finishing at 23 points. Cryer would finish 6-for-9 from three while Edgecombe pulled off a huge chase-down block of Cryer in the first half and another electric dunk in the second half.
