And Rhules record against ranked teams isn't very good either.

not only was he a big time loser at Baylor, he's a loser everywhere he goes.

He is a winner in the board room where he gets these massive contract salaries.

Gotta respect the hustle.

The AD who extended CMR may have repeated Mack Rhoades' mistake by locking in a coach the fans may regret. Still, if Nebraska boosts its NIL program, they could make the playoffs. Either way, I'll be watching to see what happens.

They already have boosted NIL compared with everyone in the XII except Tech.

Secondly what the Nebraska AD did was worse. At least Rhoades extended Aranda after a XII title and top 10 season. The Nebraska AD extended with Rhule being a game or two above .500 overall at the time in year 3 and just before the end of a 7-6 season.

Interesting note. Over Rhule's last 6 seasons as a college HC Rhule is 38-39 and Aranda is 36-37 over the past 6 seasons as a HC.

Coach MR is an opportunist, not a great coach. He would not have sustained his record if he had stayed at BU. Even before NIL, he could not recruit. All he could do was scan the want ads for his next chance to
Leverage flash pan success into contract money. What is pitiful is that Nebraska hired him in the first place. His weaknesses were exposed in the very NFL he longed for. And he has never build a sustained, successful college program. He is a 3 year house flipper. Makes his cash and runs. Nebraska will fire him within the next 4 years, probably sooner. Then he can count his coins from the panthers and cornhuskers. He will probably then leverage down a notch to make a few more million at less known school. Matt is all about Matt.

Fans getting restless in Lincoln?

I guess Oklahoma drills aren't a big draw in Lincoln.

If he wants to come back to Baylor after this season, I would take him in a New York minute.

I like what Rhule did for us here

But I do wonder if he would be as affective at Baylor today in the era of NIL

Not sure he could replicate his success a second time around in Waco

Rutgers and Maryland might be their own Conference wins this year... Can't believe they extended the guy when they should be looking for a replacement...
