Yeah, I don't understand the questions about gameday and attendance. Its really simple.. over 75% of the fanbase is completely out on Dave.
Unless he win out and beats important teams (TCU) it will remain that way. Even in wins he looks terrible. The gameplay is very low quality and the execution is poor. Energy is terrible until 10 min left in the 4th. Its really, really bad football.

Sawyer was never a serious heisman candidate. That's just our fanbase looking at stats and assuming he's one of the best players in the country.

Our TD drive took two 4th and 5+ conversions and a PI to make it happen. Our FG drive required a dumb TCU taunting penalty to keep it alive.

It's so embarrassing when anybody criticizes Dave and people say, "Waaa why do you hate him so much. You're so hateful". Dave doesn't even get real hate. If he trotted out a terrible product looking like the whole team is on Ambien week in and and week out at a bigger program, he would get death threats
UH up 21-14 on Arizona. They've got a chance to start their season 6-1...granted other than TT they've played a super soft schedule.

One thing I've learned is that a coach can know all the X's and O's In the world. Aranda knows them and is smart in that capacity. He just has no feel about their practical application.
Exactly.. This fanbase as a whole is incredibly soft on Dave. Dude could/should be criticized way more than he is
I worry that this is it. This is the best team we can afford and the best coach we can attract. Baylor is a lower tier program in the age of NIL and this may just be what we are for the foreseeable future
