The fact they almost pulled off a miracle will just piss off the fan base more. Never seen anything like this.

I think that should be it. Unless David wins out convincingly (won't happen), he should be gone.

This team is completely listless, terrible discipline, no energy, and high school level execution until they get down huge. Sign of a terribly coached football team.

Honest question: how many games does this current team win if we were to go back in time 15 years or so when we had A&M, UT, Nebraska, and OU on the schedule?

4-8 with wins against Sam Houston, Buffalo, Rice, and Kansas.

They lose to TCU, Tech, Colorado, Kansas State, Texas, Oklahoma State, A&M, and Oklahoma.

1-8 in conference play.

The actual 2010 team was 7-6, 4-4 against the Big 12.

FINAL

TCU 42
Baylor 36

Redding recovered the onside kick. We got called for holding on the first play then Sawyer threw his 3rd pick of the day.

Sawyer saved the day in the last 39 seconds for the malcontents

Saving the day is typically reserved for when you win, not when you lose. Unless one's standards have become very low.

(But if you are implying he wasn't the reason we lost, then I agree with that.)

A loss is good for the malcontents here. The pic saved the day for those who say they would rather go through another Roberts/Steele era than have Aranda.

Would have been completely fine with the win. But the trend of digging deeper and deeper holes is just completely unacceptable. Near miracle aside.

Never seen a team so consistently unprepared with zero energy every single game. Or in the few games they do get up early (Auburn & Tcu) they completely melt once matched. This is a very poorly coached team.

That's great… but it's kind of meaningless when you are digging the hole so deep to start out.

Wrong. They went 7-5 then lost the bowl game to Illinois, finished 7-6.

Loved the part where they finally called a designed run for Sawyer on the 4th down play, only to have him run straight up the middle. Chef's kiss.

I laughed out loud when that happened. For all of us begging for him to run the ball… then he finally does and loses yards.... painfully funny.

Also painfully telegraphed.
