This is a bend don't break defense…that means you need to make them drive the length of the field and take advantage of mistakes and hope for a turnover. Giving them ball at their own 40 is not a smart decision

In this game I feel like you have to go filed position and punt. Clearly, the passing game is having a hard time getting in sync, slick turf, slick hands, timing is effected. Just punt that thang and get it back.

Ehh, it's not fair for him to have to play perfect for us to have any chance of winning games TBH. What's more frustrating to me is his inability/unwillingness to run the football. He was a much more willing runner last year, but it's clear he really just doesn't want to, I guess to keep from getting hurt this year. A quarterback that can move the chains with his feet is doubly important in a game like this where nothing seems to be getting going

Our defense hasn't been that great at generating turnovers this year. Good example of a bend but not break defense is what we had under Phil Bennett with blitzing darn near every play
