Watching tonight's Packers game (damn you ESPN App) and I was surprised to see #29 Xavier McKinney on Packers D being the only one wearing Yellow long sleeves.
I'm sure Rhoades is watching and yelling at TV "why are you wearing those ****ing sleeves".
Love played a terrible game tonight for the Pack. Hate to see Eagles win this one.

This situation seems less than ideal.
Almost too specific to be completely made up. I think most of us who sniffed out and commented on Rhoade's huge attitude problem were probably right. Dude needs his ass kicked. Oh and obviously be removed.
Getting worked up over the undershirt.. which looked solid on TV by the way. Rhoades the type of dude who needs to put input even when its completely unnecesary. No wonder subservient Dave has lasted so long..the AD likes it that way and Drew is probably too nice to push him.

That looks like a guy who has been beaten down - and I can sympathize with Dave. No doubt that Mack is bi-polar and narcissistic based on his actions and responses. We've all worked for crappy bosses and this one tops the chart. I can only imagine how difficult it was to have the guy cheer you one day then slam you the next.
I would like to see a new AD now, evaluate Dave and go from there...

You Briles obsession is...... weird.

Guys who behave like that typically are abusive to their spouses also.

Lord... were really blaming Mack for 6 years of mediocrity from Dave?!
EVALUATE DAVE?! .. how much more do we need to see that we never come into a game prepared?

I've wanted him gone last year - didn't happen. I want him gone now but frankly Baylor isn't going to pull the trigger on a new AD and Head Football coach in the same year. So the lesser of the two evils is to keep Dave and let the new AD drive a better direction for Baylor athletics....

Outside the actual news, I don't really like to seeing all the rampant speculation about any unfounded personal issues based only on really basic and incomplete descriptions of reported events and photos of his groovy shirts and his hair styles and such.

Fingers crossed the story peters out. It sounds like Mack needs some discipline (maybe firing) but I'd prefer that not be done in the front page or be debated by the talking heads at ESPN. BU has already had enough bad press to last a lifetime.

Confident Mack had substance abuse issues while at U of H and life at Missouri wasn't so peachy at all..Plenty of warning signs yet Baylor accepts because (1) in general our Board is inept and (2) we like new shiny objects and won't replace them when its apparent we need to make changes..

If Linda is just gonna slide this one under the carpet - it's embarrassing...
Baylor confirms to ESPN that it received allegations involving Mack Rhoades on Nov. 10. These do not involve Title IX, student welfare or NCAA rules, and do not involve the football program. So this is separate from the previously reported Michael Trigg incident.

The Big 12 is recommending Utah AD Mark Harlan to replace Mack Rhoades on the CFP selection committee, sources tell @YahooSports.
— Ross Dellenger (@RossDellenger) November 13, 2025
It’s still unclear who will fill the committee chair role vacated by Rhoades.
