Thanks for sharing. The Ark AD sounds intriguing. Except his football hire (Pittman) is not impressive and the hurry is out on Silverfield at this level.

I don't want Yurachek anywhere near Baylor. This guy cannot judge talent to save his life. For him to look at a coach like Silverfield, provided with so many resources at Memphis who goes on to drastically underperform and thinks, "I want that guy!" is really quite astonishing.

I believe Wren Baker is also a former Rhoades' Deputy assistant but at Missouri, if I looked at the timelines correctly. If that is the case, I'm not sure how I feel about going heavy on candidates from Rhoades' tree and who he probably recommended. Is Rhoades still quietly around and unofficially involved with the search?

Maybe, but what if someone with a prior connection to ADMR left because they realized who he really was and their ethics would not allow them to continue to work under him and thus they left.

You are obviously for digging a deeper hole. Wanting the ceo of Magnolia with all of his college sports contacts and lack of knowledge of NIL putting his finger prints on things. The smartest thing he can do is simply try to raise money to pay players and that is it and not touch a thing. Just essentially be a development officer with a title of AD.
