Agree with you completely...fair catch has become such "the norm" nowadays I don't think players really think about situations, its like they are on fair catch auto-pilot.

The one thing that gave me any hope at all coming into this season was Klanderman's ability to field a competent defense. So far, I've been extremely impressed. This is night and day from what we've had the last few years on that side of the ball.

There's no shame in being outmanned by a legit SEC defensive front. But we need to find a way to finish some of these drives that we've had. We won't succeed trying to push their big boys around.

Unfortunately, our starting field position kind of dictated that last possession.

It's hard to finish drives when you can't run the ball reliably. But that was always going to be a challenge in this one.

Spav should have replaced him 2 possessions ago. Not a good look playing an injured player. The fact Bennett may be a real drop off in quality should not factor in.
