Show me the indictments.
BTW, the idea that you find such allegations humorous is troubling.
I find yalls moronical denial of the events that led to briles termination troubling. Like people just made this **** up.
"Moronical denial" is the perfect description of the poster you're engaging.
I take it his behavior has been like this for some time?
If you want to know my position, you can ask me, and not some person's spin on the subject.
With respect to Briles, I believe he probably needed to be fired. I say "probably" because I don't have all the facts. I deal in facts, not speculation. But from what I have seen, and without some of the context, I think he was negligent in handling the program, and recruited players of questionable character. Could it have been handled differently? You bet. No independent counsel should have been hired. There should have been a mutual parting of the ways, instead of a firing. There are things that could have been done very differently. Does that sound like a "CAB apologist" (whatever that is)?
As for Briles record on the field, I won't belittle it. Again, I deal in facts, and the fact is he was by far the most successful coach we ever had. He resurrected a moribund program to never before seen heights. Sure, you have bitter fans like the juvenile delinquent you're corresponding with, that lack perspective and are bitter over losses in New Years Day bowls, failing to recognize they wouldn't have had such things to ***** about if Briles never had been hired. When we disappear back into irrelevance, they will understand what Briles did for the program.
I don't excuse what happened under Briles' watch and never will. However, I do think he gets a worse wrap because of ridiculous allegations like the one your are making, which has zero evidence in support. But again, I deal in facts.
