You DID make that sh*t up. There is no evidence any member of the coaching staff attempted to cover up rapes. It's irresponsible to make such slanderous allegations.

Art ran off some players early in his tenure, 08 and 09, by belittling them in the locker room himself, albeit not publicly, he wasn't beyond that when he wanted to clean house of guys he didn't want around.

Haha, yeah a paint by numbers cab apologist, he'll also argue if the sky is blue and then deny it once he gets cornered by facts, then he'll stalk posters and deny it, start threads about them because he's upset they tell him to go away and don't read his rants. He's interesting.

Not apples to apples.

Its one thing to have players accused of rape, another thing to cover them up using assistant coaches.
I would be interested in seeing the evidence of this. Can you direct me to it?

If you want to know my position, you can ask me, and not some person's spin on the subject.

With respect to Briles, I believe he probably needed to be fired. I say "probably" because I don't have all the facts. I deal in facts, not speculation. But from what I have seen, and without some of the context, I think he was negligent in handling the program, and recruited players of questionable character. Could it have been handled differently? You bet. No independent counsel should have been hired. There should have been a mutual parting of the ways, instead of a firing. There are things that could have been done very differently. Does that sound like a "CAB apologist" (whatever that is)?

As for Briles record on the field, I won't belittle it. Again, I deal in facts, and the fact is he was by far the most successful coach we ever had. He resurrected a moribund program to never before seen heights. Sure, you have bitter fans like the juvenile delinquent you're corresponding with, that lack perspective and are bitter over losses in New Years Day bowls, failing to recognize they wouldn't have had such things to ***** about if Briles never had been hired. When we disappear back into irrelevance, they will understand what Briles did for the program.

I don't excuse what happened under Briles' watch and never will. However, I do think he gets a worse wrap because of ridiculous allegations like the one your are making, which has zero evidence in support. But again, I deal in facts.

Right.
One thing that bugged me is folks saying that rapes were covered up. But If that were true then there would be indictments and folks thrown in jail because that would be a felony.
Instead folks mentioned above have gone on to find employment elsewhere which I doubt would be possible if they were all guity of felony charges

So which one shows evidence of coaches covering up rapes? The article with excerpts from a lawsuit pleading or the PH report (I think you mean the regent-authored "Findings of Fact")? It's surely not in that article (and it's not in that lawsuit pleading either; ask Keyser, he and I have both read it in its entirety). Now, you have actually named five coaches by name and tied them to covering up rapes. So, I will ask you once again to please point me to the evidence which backs up your now more-detailed allegation.

That's why I asked. If there's more there, let's hear it.

And just FYI, covering up a rape is not only a dishonest action, but it is criminal action as well. It's called being an accessory after the fact, and could include charges of tampering with, destroying evidence or obstruction of justice. Anyone who covers up a rape is going to get charged. So, when can we expect those indictments?
